crazy crazy
since I've turned 33 I've noticed things going on that I don't quite like.1. I can't seem to control my couch.
2. Children randomly pick their noses at the worst times.
Now, let me explain these first two things before I go any farther. The out of control couch is mostly due to the children, BUT after I've gotten to take care of their things and the couch is looking pristine something happens. I leave the room, or just even stop looking at the couch and when I turn around cushions are on the floor. For quite a while I blamed the kids, but one day when I was home alone it happened again. You have to understand that couch is a very proper couch, it was Dan's grandmother's, it's cream colored with fancy fabrick, curved back and cherry trim. Proper couches shouldn't just explode, not like this. So, I decide to steakout the couch from the recliner - a good idea in theory, but as I'm sure most of you could predict, I fell asleep.
However, about 20 min. into my nap I hear a funny scratching noise. Prying my eyes open I see that our mild mannered house cat is digging behind the couch cushions. Thinking she's after a bug, I let her dig and go back to napping. Upon waking I discover a totally disassembled couch with said mild mannered cat curled in a ball on the floor in a secure corner of the room. The cat! It was the cat that's been tearing the couch apart! To this day all I have to do is totally clear of the couch and within minutes she's tearing it apart. I no long blame the kids unless I actually see them taking it apart.
Now about #2, I'm just out of time so we'll have to review random nose picking next time.
