monday thai, tuesday pb&j

So, today I had a great lunch with 2 cousins and my brother! Christie works a lot closer than I thought and Lara was in town for a wedding/visit. It was Christie's idea since I called her over a month ago and said "let's have lunch!". Tim got a prime parking spot out front of the Thai restaurant and we all enjoyed good conversation over some pretty ok food and weird tasting tea. Tim swore his Thai Tea ($3) tasted like maple syrup with cream added... I tasted it, he was right! To be fair, it did have a tea aftertaste :)

It's funny how family can, after years of seeing each other off and on, just sit and talk. I know I didn't get to ask Lara and Christie half the things I wanted to and I KNOW I talked way too much (as evidence by the fact that I was still eating when everyone else was done... and the funny looks Lara was giving me). Hours are way too short when your talking. Lara's definitly right though, Tim and Jos are similar - I think it's their attitude twards life, no stress at all... just go with the flow.

There is a very good possibility that I will be on Good Morning America on Monday May 15th. Long story short. a lady is helping me negotiate some flextime with my job and it's landing me in her segment! Set your VCR's! Guess I should warn my boss... just in case his bosses boss sees/hears about it!!!

In other work news, my 90 day review went well. Boss still thinks hiring me was a good decision :)
