trouble in the kitchen

This week has just been plain crazy. I feel like I can't get out from under my work and next week we're suppose to go away on vacation to Maine.

Last weekend one of my close friends Mary Ruth and her husband Richard visited on their way through to New Hampshire. We got a sitter and went to a Phillies game. It was terrific! The game went to 12 innings and the Phillies won 5-4 against the Nationals. It was really hot so Dan ended up hanging out in the concession area for at least 4 innings, but came back for the rest. Needless to say I've got a bit of a tan, a huge tan actually since I don't normally have a tan at all!

After we went out to dinner to the Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant in West Chester for dinner. It was a nice place, right along a very picturesque street in the center of town. I had some super yummy salmon rolls and a garden salad, just perfect!

Packing to camp out in Jo & Steves backyard this weekend for a McCullough family reunion! The final test for our week of camping in Maine, so we'll see how well the children do roughing it.

ttfn,
heather

reading other peoples blogs

I've been reading other ppls blogs quite a bit to see what's going on in their lives and thought it only fair to start one of my own. Unfortunatly, I'm not in a super great mood and so I'm not feeling too chatty.

I've tons of deadlines for work tomorrow and guests coming for dinner and the children aren't behaving well...so tada! My first official readable blog.
