this is life

waiting for your computer to finish a process shouldn't be something anyone should have to experience in this day and age and whatnot!

Summer's starting to heat up, so far it looks like we'll be home one or two Sundays this month, one for a church event and one to do laundry - boo laundry, hooray naps! The kids go to NJ next weekend and then the 4th of July... wait a sec!

I feel like I'm forgetting BIRTHDAYS!?! oh my golly I don't have time to write anymore - cya!

fifth's disease

First off it's not as scary as it sounds. Fifth's disease is like chicken pox or measles in a way. So Rianne had her fever about a week and a half ago (An ill child may have a low-grade fever, malaise, or a "cold" a few days before the rash breaks out. The child is usually not very ill, and the rash resolves in 7 to 10 days.) and is now experiencing the joy of the rash. Bad news, adults can get it and so I did! I had Dan checking my temperature so it didn't get too high, I wanted to let the fever work, but when my temp hit 102 we went for the advil.

Luckily I'm feeling much better - still have some joint pain, but in all the usual spots so I'm just bearing it with a little advil. Ri's currently soaking in the tub as her rash got quiet bad yesterday and is still calming down. Well that's our excitement for this weekend!
